The EA113 2.0 TFSI wears the cam follower that drives its high-pressure fuel pump and builds carbon on the intake valves; both jobs are covered step by step. On the EA288 2.0 TDI the particulate filter, AdBlue (SCR) system and EGR cooler are the usual jobs, along with the timing belt.
On a 2012 car the 10th character of the VIN is “C”, a quick way to confirm the model year before you order.
