By 2022 the Gladiator was in its third year and the mechanical layout stayed the same as 2021. What separates one 2022 truck from another is the drivetrain: Sport and Overland use the Command-Trac transfer case with a 2.72:1 low range, while the Rubicon gets the Rock-Trac case with a 4:1 low range, electric lockers front and rear, and a front sway bar that disconnects.
